Numeral sign should be used before the numbers and the alphabet sign before the letters. Also Leaving the name on would be prefered.

About Infra Red Transmitter Chips MV500, Great Devices, but now discontinued the replacement is the MV60045. The companions to the MV500, the SL486 Infra Red pre amplifier and the MV601 Receiver are still sold by catalogues. The catalogues also mention the MV500 and SL490B, the predecessor, but don't sell them or even mention the replacement. The only Catalogue company I have found at this time the sells the new chips is Farnell. MV60045's seem to be fussier about the supply voltage, although it could still run on 6-9V it is now recommended to be run on 3-6V, seemingly strange, it also requires about two more external components. The replacement seems not as good as it's predecessor. The cause of this is something to do with cell on GPS's Semi-Custom process it seems. This so it can be used on chip as part of larger system, apparently. The sting is the old chip, the MV500, cost about £2.30. But the new chip the MV60045, Costs about £9.00 approximately excluding VAT (Value Added Tax) £10.00 including VAT.
I was doing a project that required 6 MV500 or so. With a project budget at about £50.00 for the. Using MV60045's the cost for those alone would be about £60.00 so now the project includes only one. This could be an interesting way to put prices up. Perhaps the chip does have some good improvements.

Most people like to see faster cheaper services.
